1. Agreement to These Terms
By using this website or engaging my services, you agree to the terms outlined in this Agreement. You also agree to share these terms with any family members or companions traveling with you.
2. My Role and Responsibilities
I, Larissa Bengtson - Independent Travel Designer, act solely as an agent for airlines, cruise lines, tour operators, hotels, resorts, car rental companies, destination management companies, and any other travel suppliers involved in your itinerary. I do not control these suppliers and am not responsible for their acts or omissions, their failure to provide services, schedule changes, cancellations, or their adherence to their own policies or contracts. Your travel arrangements are subject to the terms and conditions of each supplier.
3. Travel Risks and Traveler Responsibilities
I do not have special knowledge regarding foreign entry requirements, health or safety risks, weather hazards, supplier bankruptcies, or the suitability of accommodations, tours, or transportation for individuals with disabilities. You are responsible for reviewing official resources before traveling, including U.S. State Department advisories, CDC health notices, and entry requirements for your destination. By booking travel, you release me from any claims arising from conditions or events outside my control.
4. Flight Delays and Schedule Changes
Flight delays and schedule changes are common. Airlines are not required by law to cover expenses such as meals, hotels, transportation, or phone charges during delays. I recommend monitoring your flight status and reconfirming schedules before departure and return.
5. Cancellation, Changes, and Refunds
Airlines, cruise lines, tour operators, and hotels impose their own cancellation and change penalties — many up to 100% for certain fares or packages. Before booking, you are responsible for reviewing the applicable supplier rules. Refunds, if any, are governed by the supplier’s policies.
6. Review Your Itinerary
Upon receiving your itinerary, you must review it immediately to confirm names, dates, times, rates, fares, and accuracy of all travel components. Notify me promptly of any discrepancies.
7. Package Trips and Deposits
For packaged travel (tours, cruises, bundled vacations), deposits are required at the time of booking. Deposit amounts and refund policies vary by supplier. I do not endorse or recommend any specific supplier; my role is to facilitate your booking. If a supplier requires a signed agreement, I will provide it to you. If any supplier agreement conflicts with these Terms, these Terms govern.
8. Charter Travel
If your trip includes a charter flight or air-only charter, please be aware:
• Departure times may change with little notice (up to 48 hours).
• Routing may change and stops may be added.
• Aircraft type or operating carrier may be substituted.
• Baggage handling may be limited or unreliable.
• Cancellation penalties are typically strict.
• Frequent flyer miles may not accrue.
• Advance seat assignments may not be available.
You must sign any required charter operator agreement.
9. Final Payment
Full payment and a signed payment authorization are required before tickets or travel documents can be released.
10. Non‑Use of Flight Coupons
If you purchase a ticket with multiple coupons (segments) and do not use them in sequence, the airline may refuse to honor the ticket. You agree to indemnify me for any airline claims related to fare differences.
12. Website Use and Intellectual Property
You agree not to resell or redistribute information from this website or use website content for commercial purposes. All content is protected by copyright and trademark laws. I make every effort to ensure accuracy but am not responsible for typographical or informational errors.
13. Limited Power of Attorney
By requesting travel arrangements, you authorize me to act as your agent for booking travel, signing necessary documents, and processing credit card authorizations for travel services you request. You agree to pay all charges incurred on your behalf.
14. No Warranties
This website and its features are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, including accuracy, reliability, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. I do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
15. Limitation of Liability
I am not liable for direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost profits or costs of substitute services, arising from your use of this website or supplier actions. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases, the limitation applies to the fullest extent permitted by law.
16. Public Health Risks
Travel involves inherent risks, including exposure to contagious diseases. By traveling, you acknowledge and assume all risks related to exposure to illness and release me from any claims arising from such exposure. You are responsible for reviewing current health and safety guidelines for your destination.
17. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
18. Acceptance of These Terms
By using this website or booking travel through me, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms of Service.
